SDN SEARCH

The link above will take you to a name search tool of the United States department of Treasury Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.  These are names identified by the government as having a connection to the financing of terrorist activities.  If you are providing closing services in a transaction, you should be running searches of the names of persons and entities that are involved in your closings against this database.  In the event that you find a match, you should review the full information listing from the Treasury Department website to determine if your person can be eliminated.  You can review the full listing in a number of ways:
